王胤,博士,教授,博士生导师。2012年获得英国爱丁堡大学博士学位。主要研究方向:多孔介质渗流理论与计算、海洋土力学、新型海洋基础。

    1.海洋土物理、化学、工程力学特性。自2015年持续赴南海进行现场原位科学调查,覆盖南海全海域、全海深;进行深水海床沉积物原位保真取样与原位测试工作,建立南海土物理-化学-力学性质数据库,提出海洋土微观结构量化分析方法。

    2.颗粒材料及多孔介质渗流理论与数值模拟。建立海洋土多相多场微观渗流理论模型,发展海洋土多尺度流固耦合数值计算方法,深入研究海洋土渗流与变形机理。

    3.新型海洋基础与承载性能。采用现场原位取样与测试技术,引入多参数人工智能选取方法进行海洋基础数值模拟与分析,对海洋基础结构进行高精度计算与优化设计,建立海洋基础结构一体化设计方法,并已应用于海上风电、岛礁填筑、油气平台等工程中。

    主持国家自然科学基金等国家级科研项目3项、省部级项目1项、校企产学研横向课题5项;参与国家自然科学基金重大项目、重点项目、国家重点研发计划项目等6项。获英国皇家学会牛顿青年奖、辽宁省自然科学学术成果二等奖、大连市自然科学优秀学术论文二等奖。在教书育人方面,获得全国青年教师讲课竞赛二等奖、辽宁省教学成果一等奖。出版学术专著2部,发表SCI/EI学术论文40余篇,获专利及软件著作授权6项。多次受邀在国际/国内学术会议上作报告。担任国际海洋与极地工程师协会(ISOPE)技术理事会委员(TCP member)、国际工程地质学会(IAEG)海洋工程地质委员会(C34)副秘书长、中国土木工程学会土力学及岩土工程分会青年工作委员会委员;担任多个国际/国内学术期刊编委或审稿人。

 

Yin Wang, Ph.D, Ph.D supervisor, is a professor of Infrastructure Geotechnics at Dalian University of Technology within Infrastructure Engineering.

My work has ranged from fundamental geotechnical studies into the mechanical response of marine soils to leadership of cross-disciplinary initiatives spanning the engineering of offshore resource exploration and development. The work has been primarily focused on the offshore traditional & renewable energy industries, but I have enjoyed spin-offs ranging from the design of novel offshore construction machinery to remote monitoring technologies for ocean environment.

I work closely with other disciplines, where a ‘joined-up’ approach, or a fresh perspective allows progress to be made. For example, collaboration across geotechnics, structures, fluids and metocean has been used to develop more reliable forecasts of offshore facility behaviour by properly capturing coupled behaviour. Additionally, work with novel sensing and control techniques allows us to detect the mechanical properties of seabed sediments in new ways.

Particular use has been made of two novel research techniques: (i) Database Aided design (DatAD) for offshore foundations of offshore wind turbines, oil & gas platform, island filling, etc; and (ii) Smart numerical analysis strategies based extended DEM (CFD-DEM, X-DEM). Our ‘DatAD’ technique development in collaboration with the marine geotechnics team of NGI is used in several offshore wind turbine projects in Guangdong.

Before joining Dalian University of Technology in 2013, I worked for Gillette brand of Procter & Gamble at London R&D center as an assistant scientist. I obtained my bachelor and master degree from Jilin University, China and obtained my Ph.D degree from The University of Edinburgh, UK.

I am the awardee of the Royal Society Newton Award, the Principle Investigator of several research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chinese government, and the Royal Society UK. I have authored 2 books, and >100 journal/conference publications. I am a TCP Member of the International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE), the Vice Secretary-general of the Marine Engineering Geology Commission (C34) of The International Association for Engineering Geology and Environment (IAEG), Young Member of Chinese Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering.
